Of course eating right comes first. After all, we must burn more calories than we take in to lose weight. And naturally, what you eat will determine the calories you consume.

You should find a diet plan that fits your taste, is easy to do and will deliver a great weight loss effect.

Latest nutrition research has shown that it is best to choose a diet plan that is:

-- low on bad fat and high on good fat
-- low on bad carbs and high on good carbs

Use calorie charts to get a clue about the calories you take in with your meals and the calories you burn during the day.

Track this in a diet journal next to your exercise, supplement and motivational program. Studies have shown that simply using a diet journal - without doing anything else consciously - can lead to weight loss!
